Holiday Break Assignment!

Why is teamwork important for student leaders and how should it take shape?

  1. Teamwork is important for student leaders because it shows how the smallest contributions can make the most impact. With everyone working together to accomplish a big goal, no one would get as stressed as normally one person who had to tackle the whole task would. Teamwork should take shape as a if-we-do-our-part-we-will-all-be-successful type thing. No one should feel like they have more to do than the others. I think the work should be evenly distributed and for bigger jobs, more people should be assigned to it. If done like this no one feels like they have more work to do and get stressed. Without that stress factor people are hopefully more willing to accomplish their job and the big task should be done in no time. With the job assigning..I think a few people who know most about the project should assign jobs, or have people pick their job. This way, people will be more tempted to finish what they are supposed to because they will enjoy their job assignment.

  2. Team work is very important. when working in a team you learn to communicate with others and listen to everyone as well. Then when you become a leader you have the ablities to communicate with everyone and get your point across. If someone has a better idea than you or something different then what you were thinking, with your team work skills you learn to listen and find a way to put there idea with yours.

  3. Team work is not only important for student leaders, but for everyone. Team work is used everywhere, from sports to military to Wall Street. This method allows everyone invovled to take an active part in the task that needs accomplished, and has everyone working towards a common goal. Using team work will prepare students for future tasks and jobs. When in use this method can demonstrate to students the different roles that need to be filled and the importance of each role. Team work also teaches students to brainstorm, discuss,and compromise all while being tactful. Group projects, sports, and clubs are all good wasy to promote and teach team work. kc :)

Team work is important for student leaders because nothing can get done within a group without everyone putting forth effort towards 1 main goal, whether or not its survival or for the good of the group or to benifit a charity, any of these things could not be accomplished without 3 main things, a leader, effort from the followers, and a common goal. Team work is shaped by the want to do something. If you want to do something no matter what it is you need fellowship and help, help is a big part in any society, it WILL fail without help outside a community.   5. Team work: work done by several associates with each doing a part but all subordinating personal prominence to the efficiency of the whole.

    Team work is important because it teaches student leaders to be an active force in getting the goal the group has set accomplished. Team work also teaches student leaders to comprimise with others because your way might not always be the right way. Using team work will prepare student leaders to take on leadership roles as they grow older (such as a leader of an political office, or a leader of a buisness). td :)

Teamwork is important for student leaders because if you can't work together and share your ideas, and put your opinion out there, yet accept others thoughts then one will have a hard time while working with others. Student leaders should make this their number one priority while working in a team. Those leaders need to be accepting, and open-minded. BP

A good leader is not only someone that leads and is a good example, a good leader also is able to listen and cooperate with others. In almost every persons life, a situation will come about when team work must be involved for positive results. Working together is a must need to get the best output from decisions being made. Leaders make the decision based off of others opinions to try and cooperate with the team and make the best decision from all the input given. LR

  9. Teamwork is pivotal in student leaders. Leaders are not dictators; they are facilitators. Their role is to organize the ideas, opinions, goals, and efforts of the group. Often they serve as the spokespeople of the group, but even in this role, they work with people outside the group. Leaders face the challenge of always working with a smile, both to make the group look good and to keep up the morale. An effective leader is selfless, always keeping the needs and overall opinions of the members their number one priority.

  11. Team work is important because its a quality you will need to develope in order to be successful in life or most any jobs. If you can not work with others you will struggle greatly at most anything you do because most jobs and day to day things involve working with others. Team work is an easy way to contribute and put your say in. A good leader is someone who can make sure that people always work together and hear eachothers opinions.

  13. I think teamwork is important for today's leaders because it can stop us from overlooking others and being able to utilize everyone to the best of their abilities. Any good leader can note that without the help of others, you can't get anything accomplished and without the skill of teamwork you cannot succeed. With teamwork you get things done faster, more efficiently, and you can end up making a few friends in the end. :) -eb

Helping others and listening to everyone's ideas are also two things that are a major part of teamwork.   16. Team work is important for everyone because it shows a sense of responsiblity. It proves that you can be depended on by others and yourself. It should be shaped by if everyone does they're part as a part of the team then everyone will succedd. I think that if you break assignments down and distribute the jobs throughout everyone that the task will get done much fast and easier.

Pick who you think would do best at a job and if that doesnt work let them pick their own job, but make sure they can accomplish it, if not be the leader who lifts their spirits up and encourage them to not give up. -mm

If the team divides up the work the faster it could get done and the more unique it can be do to many minds being apart of it. Also, if someone gets discourage or ready to give up other team member can be there along the way for help and support.
